Jack doesn't reveal or show his true feelings, except to his pokemon and people he can trust. The boy is very contemptuous and sometimes arrogant towards other humans, and very pessimistic. He may also become sceptical around strangers, and hardly trusts anyone. Due to this lack of trust, he is self-reliant and assertive, but will stay with his pokemon. If you do, however, manage to get as far as aquaintances with Jack, he will gradually begin to trust you, and will become loyal and trusting to his friends. He will also display less contempt and dislike towards friends and aquaintances. The boy also enjoys eavesdropping, and would never mean to injure anybody without a good cause. He also enjoys procastinating and talking to his pokemon.

Jack was raised in a poor town by the shore, along with his brother Jed. Even though they were starving 90% of the time, they still had fun. Until a tragic incident which led to Jed being slaughtered by a group of Liepard. The worst part, he was given a Purrloin the day before. To this day, he does not go into detail when explaining his brothers death.

Edited Jack's personality to make it more fitting.

Also, changed the Liepard weakness to the lack of trust so he's less of a Gary Stu.

The partially blind cat was curled up in a tent, and was just about to nod off when he started getting a minor migraine. His ears pricked up at the sound of crackling, and he began to grow curious about the noise. When the curiousity eventually took over, Vulturetalon slowly rose to his feet and padded in the direction of a strange crackling. After following it, his left eye glanced at the cats that had gathered around what appeared to be a bonfire. He sat down, glanced at the food and back. "Thank god there isn't any liquor here.." He muttered "I don't think I could take another sip."

Vulturetalon bounded up to where Rookfeather had fallen, just in time to hear the comment and stare at where Rookfeather's paw should've been. "Umm.... Yeah....." he couldn't help but just gaze at the space.

Jack, who had just entered the room, sluggishly made his way to a corner and slumped down on the ground after having to walk all the way to the city. he was slightly anxious, but most of his worries had faded over the journey as he became more and more expectant that he would lose. He looked at his five pokeballs, the others had six, if there was a chance that he would somehow win, it would be almost non-existent. He noticed a few others in the room and slowly rose to his feet after he had rested, his Toxicroak burst out of it's pokeball. The warrior looked back and realised one of his pokeballs had rolled onto the floor, he collected it hastily. "Crimson Cartel love their 'games'..." He muttered, "Maybe they should play, that'd be something worth watching..."

Jack glanced at the boy who had just entered, then muttered to his Toxicroak "Who dresses in that when they're possibly going to die, or at least be covered in blood.." He then returned the Pokemon to it's pokeball, filled a cup with water from the water filter, and noticed a girl by the filter. He leaned against the wall, gulped down the drink and, after watching some of the BCT on television, tried to think of a way to win, but pessimistic thoughts had filled his mind, every method of him winning had been disproven by the thoughts, even if it makes no sense. Guess I'll just have to rely on hope or luck... which can't possibly be that high seeing as I'll be up against people in or near Avlares City, they're bound to have some advantages..

So.... Umm... Lovely weather we're having, eh?

"Hi.." Jack muttered, throwing the cup into a bin then glanced at the T.V. and back. "What do you think your chances are of winning this?" Jack tried not to say anything too friendly, even making aquaintances could make someone feel worse when the punishment arrives. The boy was still waiting to see what this 'special round' would be. Probably just giving them a small sample of what's to come.

"Yeah, IF you survive.." Jack said, talking at the same volume as the girl. "But to be honest, that's not half bad, let's just hope the winner is either you, or somehow let's us survive.." The 'warrior' continued to lean against the wall, anticipating the moment when he would have to let his pokemon suffer for others entertainment.
